Presently, Project Real Life Youth Occupational Training Corps, based in Jonesboro, is the only non-profit organization directly involved in the distribution efforts.

Merkison, the Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Clayton County, revealed that MNA Law had previously overseen the disbursement of about $6.2 million in ERA-1 emergency assistance funding. The success of their previous work led the county to rehire the firm for the latest distribution. Merkison further emphasized that the funds must be allocated by December 2024.
