I got denied from Amazon for a warehouse position back in 2022, then I figured to try again a few months ago for the same position but got accepted this time. I probably got lucky or something.
Can’t really offer much input but in my area I’ve seen a handful of RSO who work at Amazon/Whole Foods. I know it may vary by location, I am in PA if that helps.

I worked with Amazon when I got released, they hired me and let me work for two weeks and then after a background check they dismissed me. My knowledge is Amazon don’t like hiring any ex-convicts
A guy in my group works at one in Portland
A guy in my parole class last year worked at Amazon he got let go because he was still on paper but said he’s welcome to come back once he’s off. He was a worker in the warehouse, but he wasn’t able to be a driver
I have a family member who was hired at Amazon for warehouse work a few months after being arrested– but not convicted (trial hasn’t happened yet). The arrest and charges were very public. All local TV stations and papers prominently covered the story, some TV reporters did broadcasts outside of the previous workplace, etc…
To make matters worse, there was a person in that area who had the exact same name and a history of prior convictions (DUIs I think), so when the media picked up the story, they incorrectly reported prior convictions for my family member too.
I have a friend who applied for a driver and or warehouse, he went to the interview and etc.. he wasn’t hired. His conviction was in like 1999, and he’s not on paper. It might be a hit or miss thing with Amazon. He’s in Pennsylvania as well.
Amazon does not hire RSOs. I’ve applied numerous times since my release from prison in 2017 and they’ve always turned me down
Well just got my notice of pre-adverse action so I’m probably not getting hired 😞
