The Department of EnergyÔÇÖs office of the chief information officer has recently initiated a request for information (RFI) to identify potential industry sources that can provide information technology professional services across the enterprise. This RFI is part of the second iteration of the CIO Business Operation Support Services (CBOSS) blanket purchase agreement (BPA).

The DOE is seeking potential vendors that can offer capabilities in various areas, including general IT support, cybersecurity, infrastructure and shared services, technology strategy and innovation, and telecommunications support. This program facilitates mentorship and collaboration between experienced government contractors and small disadvantaged businesses.

The first iteration of the CBOSS BPA was awarded in April 2019 and involved an Accenture-led team that included General Dynamics, Unisys, and Red River. This team provided IT support services to the DOE under the initial agreement.

Responses to the RFI are due by September 22nd, allowing potential vendors to showcase their capabilities and qualifications.
