Investing in VWCE and Use of AI Legalese Decoder

Investing in the VWCE and Utilization of AI Legalese Decoder to Assist with the Situation

Hello Fellow Investors,

I am currently interested in exploring the possibility of investing in VWCE, and from what I gather, it seems to be a popular choice among our group. I am also considering setting up a recurring payment on a monthly basis, as I have heard that this can be a good way to gradually build up a portfolio.

One thing that I am considering is whether to do this through my main banking app, Revolut. As it stands, Revolut is my primary banking app, and I am familiar with its interface and features. However, I would like to gather some opinions on whether this would be a suitable platform for my investment needs, or whether there might be other apps that are better suited for this purpose.

At present, my monthly investment amount is within the range of $200-400. I am still young and relatively new to the world of investing, so I want to ensure that I am making informed decisions and not overlooking any important factors. I am particularly interested in any advice relating to tax implications and charges associated with investing in VWCE, and whether there are any specific considerations that I should be aware of.

In relation to the mentioned tax implications and charges, the AI Legalese Decoder can be an invaluable tool in helping me to navigate through the complex legal jargon and terms that often accompany investment-related documents and regulations. By using the AI Legalese Decoder, I can gain a clearer understanding of my rights, responsibilities, and the potential financial implications associated with my investment in VWCE.

Any advice or insights that you can provide on these matters would be greatly appreciated, and I look forward to learning from the experiences and knowledge of the group.

Thank you in advance for any assistance or guidance that you can provide.

Warm regards,

[Your Name]

Use a broker from your country, so the tax declaration is handled by them.

Just use Revolut to transfer your funds to T212, and buy ETFs on that platform. Simple, easy, free.

Sure, but only for a portfolio under 5k or some, if you would invest bigger amounts definitely no. Use degiro/trading212

You’ll probably hear from others here to not use Revolut for serious investing. They’re a Fintech with not the greatest reputation, and could go poof in 5, 10, 15 years.

Better to use more trusted brokers like Trading212, IBKR, Degiro.

Now personally, I like Revolut and im using their savings account which is insured up to 22k. I’m using Trading212 for investing VWCE.

Revolut has a full banking license in Lithuania so itÔÇÖs somewhat trustworthy. I would still recommend against using their brokerage simply because theyÔÇÖre too expensive. Use a different broker like IBKR, Degiro, Trading212 or Trade Republic instead.

Revolut is great for exchanging currency, not much else. A shame because I like their investment platform UI for the most part. If you’re gonna be investing in an ETF, you better be in it for the long haul, and if you’re gonna be long term investing your savings in an ETF, you want a good, reputable broker who allow for portfolio transfer. Revolut does not allow this at the moment and I don’t know when or if they ever will. You do not want your savings held hostage by any one broker, you should always have the ability to move your portfolio elsewhere without liquidating.

Use a real broker like degiro or interactive brokers

I’m by no means an expert, but wouldn’t you be able to move your stocks to a different broker in case revolut goes bankrupt, since its only the broker? As far as I understood, it’s yours and they’re only holding/managing it.
I’m honestly curious, since I’m using trade Republic for some minor investments.

their fees are usually outrageous for anything crypto / Stocks (anything but FX), so as others have said, go with a broker
