i grabbed my flip phone from target off the counter (consumer cellular) — there is absolutely no option to browse the internet on it, so it makes it a perfect phone.

your boyfriend will have to live in utter stone age, where if he needs anything he will have either his family members or friends do anything internet related. i remember being side by side with my brother, asking him to click this or click that.

it will be a good time for him to start investing in himself through some quality reading to pass the time i reckon.

    best of luck to him.

Try Gabb Wireless…they have fully locked smartphones with no internet or WiFi capabilities

Depending to some extent upon the state, such blanket restrictions may not be legal. It might be worth contacting NARSOL and/or perusing their website.

They have an entire “dumb” phone program for old people. Get one of those.

Is this a probation restriction or treatment program restriction? So far I only have monitored Internet access on probation, but terrified something like this might happen when my treatment program starts in a couple of weeks. My crime did not involve anything internet related, but I don’t think that means I’m safe necessarily.

My husband can’t have anything with internet browsers on them and can’t use internet either. His mom got him a phone from gabb wireless which is through Verizon and it’s made for kids and his po approved of it too. Oh and when he first got out of prison he had to get permission to use the internet to apply for jobs so they told him that he could go to the job center here to apply for jobs because the computers are monitored there. Has for the tv he has has long has there isn’t any way for him to browse the internet on a smart TV he can have one and gaming systems like a ps4 there’s a guy on YouTube who walks people through on child proofing it so you can take the web browser off and lock the other apps on it. I have done a lot of looking things up. Oh and yes my husband was charged with cp

you get a normal phone.. and disable the internet. dont turn on wifi, dont put ppls wifi info in there, dont open browser, disable it if phone lets you. Basically if po opens your phone and goes to your browser it better lookl ike the first time its ever been opened. you damn sure better not have wifi turned on. This is the way.
