I haven’t heard of migraines being secondary to anxiety, but I have heard it done the other way around (anxious because of physical issues). I’m rated for Migraines and I only gave statements to the doctor/examiner. I didn’t do a migraine log or anything. It may look strange (malingering) if you change the cause from being secondary to tinnitus instead of secondary to anxiety. But tinnitus -> migraines makes more sense.
Edit: if you’re adding new evidence (to show migraines are secondary to anxiety), it’s a supplement claim. If you want to talk to someone higher to convince them that anxiety causes migraines, that’s a Higher Level Review. If you’re submitting migraines as a primary standalone or a secondary to tinnitus that’s a new claim.
As for GERD, you can supply your own medical records (see a doctor and talk about it) or you can submit research publications on the diagnosis to help show how it relates.
Have you found any medical studies that connect Anxiety to Migraines?
There are a lot that connect ptsd to migraines so you may have to do the VAs job for them, and if you do find a study, you need to see a medical professional in order to get a support opinion / nexus.
What evidence did you submit to support your migraines are secondary to your anxiety.
