Position Details

The position is available from February through June 2024. It falls under the general direction of the County Administrator and involves providing leadership in audit, budget, and general finance activities of the county.

As an interim, the work schedule may include a combination of in-person and remote work.

The County has a total of 489 FTEs and a 2023-2024 adopted budget of $184 million, including a general fund of $51 million. It encompasses various departments and elected County positions.

The Finance Department operates with 7.75 FTEs and provides excellent service to internal and external customers on all financial matters.

Under the guidance of the County Administrator, the Finance Director manages the County’s financial management program, including budget, annual audit, payroll, accounting, grant administration, and mail room activities. The Director also provides guidance to elected officials, department directors, managers, supervisors, and employees on these topics.
