You know the business could just be under his Gfs name and he could be on paper making $0

Not sure 100% about CA but have you spoken to your case worker about filing for contempt of court or suspending his license?

Report them to the California Labor Enforfement Task Force. If she is employing him and not legally compensating him, and also reporting that compensation to the state, that’ll bring a shitstorm down on her company. California takes it really seriously when you’re hiding taxable income from the state.

If you have a DV restraining order, don’t need his money as much as you don’t need him. If he willfully and purposely is not involving himself in the child(ren’s) life, don’t force him. Move on with your own life. Taking sole custody comes with taking sole responsibility.

All the rights reside with her, while all the responsibility falls on him is a bullshit concept, and all it does is hurt the kids involved. It may seem to many that I’m picking a side, which, regardless of how it reads, I couldn’t disagree more… Simply because this is about the responsibility and the rights of both parties.

I know this may sound harsh to you as I presume it does, but if he wasn’t good enough for you or to you then chances are he isn’t good enough or to those kids and it’s better to not confuse them in the middle of it all regardless of what the story is, and everyone has a story and are a victim one way or another. Again, regardless of the situation, if he is avoiding you and those kids, plain flat cut him out don’t need him for nothing including his time, presence and money. Allow him to make his bed and to lay in it.

The courts won’t always be the answer, nor always help if it’s not to help themselves first. That’s just a fact

Life can and will be harsh if you dont find and make your own way. Whatever is done unjust will be done on to those who do the most wrong. You can bet on that.

So in other words, you may be paying for it now, but he will ultimately pay the price later when he isn’t included in the most important part of those children’s lives later on in their life. Which is a choice he made himself early on at no cost to you…

But if you cut him from your life via restraining order, there is a good reason for it. There is a good chance and reason he shouldn’t be in those kid’s lives either. So cut the cord and ties and become more independent. That’s not me saying, you don’t deserve help raising your kids but for the simple fact there is a restraining order involved, why keep this person tied to your lives in the form of alimony or payment?

Get them from your life completely. Those kids will eventually thank you for it. Completely as in don’t need a thing from them, including bit not limited to their presence, time or money. Let them kids see you do it yourself and honor you for being strong and courageous for not needing their time, presence, time, or money. Simply because “he” chose to avoid you all or not to apply himself willfully!

Unless, of course, you are malicious yourself, as I said previously, everyone has a story, and there are two sides of everyone. In that case, it will back fire and the unjust will be done on to you… If not mentally or physically, but instead SPIRITUALLY.

I don’t need the details. This is the consequence of posting in public forums.

You get opinions you may not agree with.

    Good luck ƒæì

Jail time and no license equals him being able to pay?

  • clagra1

If he has no contact with your kids, if this is so sounds like a deadbeat. Why not just forget about him and take care of your kids in his own. He sounds likely simply a donor the way youÔÇÖd receive him. So why not just treat it as such instead of going after a guy who has no contact with the kids. YouÔÇÖll have more of a peace of mind and get rid of him from your life.

I am ordered to pay 2700 a month for my kids. Wife is remarried to a retired maxed out military guy who has a current job make at least 80k a year plus retirement and disability benefits. I make about 50 grand a year and the ex has no job. I can only afford 1000 a month and have never missed that and what I can give. I have my own expenses as well, in order so that I can have shelter, food, water and transportation to work. I am in arrears 18k. So does this make me a deadbeat dad too? My kids live in a 5 bedroom 4000sqft home in a gated community and have traveled out of the country twice this year. (Also I have 75k cash when we divorced)Painting a picture of their lifestyle) I am a deadbeat too?

Hire an attorney to file a civil suit against him instead. Then go to regular court and show your proof to the judge.
