****** just grabbed a
I doubt very much that it will be a problem.
Fines for travelling on the wrong ticket are a state government thing. Border control is done by the Federal government. Also, after 10 years, there’s a good chance the fine has been written off.
No idea, but wouldnÔÇÖt be surprised if it will slip through the cracks. I doubt a state level revenue office wouldÔÇÖve passed an unpaid transport ticket fine to the federal level Australian Border Force / Department of Immigration. Assuming you donÔÇÖt need a visa also, I think it would be quite unlikely that your passport has been tagged with a public transport fine.
This is just my opinion and not based on any source / fact
No.
Straight to jail.
My understanding is that in order for any overdue fees to apply, you have to have received an overdue fine notice. Given youÔÇÖve obviously not received one, I think youÔÇÖll be okay.
Note: ÔÇ£If your fine is overdue and you have received an overdue fine notice, additional costs of $65 (for an adult) or $25 (for a minor under 18) will apply. If your overdue fine remains unpaid, we may take further action to recover the costs.ÔÇØ

Also, it is useful to note that NSW has long since changed its transport ticketing system to a digital one (theyÔÇÖre called Opal cards, like Oyster cards in London). ItÔÇÖs likely that any fines on the old system are forgiven.
Finally, Transport NSW lists the maximum fine for travelling without a valid ticket as $550: https://transportnsw.info/travel-info/using-public-transport/travel-offences-fines-penalties
It was also definitely far less ten years ago.
You will be fine. Enjoy the honeymoon! We have better food since you were last here!
Believe it or not, jail, right away.
Wow, this must have been such a hang up for you. 10 years and still living in your head rent free. Enjoy your honeymoon.
State department has a fund for these type of events. They come out of tax payers money
If you used your real name, yes. But likely theyÔÇÖll just ask you to pay the fine at the border before they let you in.

It’s 10 years ago.. it if had gone to the sheriffs office (maybe a few hundred tacked on)
You can always just contact Transport NSW and explain that you left before even getting a fine in the mail, they will probably let you pay the original fine, if they can even find you on the system
Most likely you’ll come here and nothing will happen, I doubt they’ll stop you at immigration for an unpaid transport fine.. lol
If they try and fine you just tell them thatÔÇÖs unaustralian and theyÔÇÖll waive it
