ƒÿéƒÿéƒÿéƒÿéƒÿéƒÿéƒÿé. I have written the registry twice in the last 4 weeks. This are the response.

    Hello,

The Department of Corrections was recently made aware of the courtÔÇÖs decision.

We are the in process of gathering more information and will be back in touch with them if this decision affects the length of registration, status of Special Bulletin Notification or being on GPS.

    Thank you,

The last one from this week.

    Hello,

We are aware of this information and as stated previously, we are working through the process to determine next steps. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

Now I have contacted via phone my local registry specialist and asked her what is going on. She said once she has more info she will get back to me….ƒÿéƒÿéƒÿéƒÿé She viewed my profile and said I will probably change.ƒÿéƒÿé I informed her I was on the original lawsuit against the state of Wisconsin for the GPS. She responded that I probably know more about what is going on than her. ƒÿéƒÿéNow how long do you think it will be before they undo the GPS??? They took one week to put it on. I have had 19 different units on my ankle in 4.5 years of wearing these. 6 units so far this year. Three weeks ago monitoring called me and told me to charge it. Told them it is junk again. Need another new one. They insisted I charge it. Told them no!!!! Told them the law has changed and this is on my leg illegally!!! They hung up on me. The unit has been dead for three weeks. I don’t charge it any more. I am calling my registry specialist tomorrow. Bet she will say nothing has happened. Bet Wisconsin will drag their feet to change this. Will be calling my civil rights lawyer tomorrow too. Will probably sue the state soon to change my status. Good luck!

  • Ojibwepride1970

I’m sure they will drag ass as usual. They know they are in the wrong, your dead monitor proves that, otherwise they’d have been there doing something.

  • Ojibwepride1970

Any updates on anyone getting monitor removed?

  • Goneanyday

    This is fucking unbelievable

Well I finally heard back from my registry specialist Nicole Griffiths, and she gave me back the same canned message that I got from Madison and here it is.

    Good morning,

We are aware of this information and as stated previously, we are working through the process to determine the next steps. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

It is word for word what I got from somebody else. So how long is it going to take for them to determine what to do? This is absolutely pathetic. Well the GPS is dead on my ankle, and we’ll see if they want to do anything. Pathetic

    Following for updates

  • [deleted]

I just got a phone call this morning from the registry, and they said that somebody will be contacting me from monitoring for the removal of the GPS. So it has begun!

I also was a 15-year registrant, and I asked her about that. She said right now they’re just working on the GPS and they’ll be finishing up.

I proceeded to ask her about the $13,000 that I have been billed for the GPS monitoring. She said that she will look into it and get back to me. It would be nice to have that erased! And what money they have captured return to me.

Same boat here.. retroactive application of bracelet in Oct 2018 after my confinement was done and I was not on parole or supervision.

I did receive a letter saying I was no longer SBN (that was on August 10th).. but now when asking about bracelet they are telling me it’s under review..

The letter gives me hope that the bracelet should be coming off, too. Praying its soon.. *sigh*
