Just to clarify, [the NTA’s tax return preparation site](https://www.keisan.nta.go.jp/kyoutu/ky/sm/top#bsctrl) is *not* e-Tax. If you prepare a tax return using that site you can submit the tax return *via* e-Tax (the site will handle the interface with e-Tax), but you can’t prepare an overseas asset report using that site.
