But Hamilton believes it will move this summer. He said he expects litigation would be filed against county leaders if they decide to restrict owners. He said the expectation, for now, is that those with short-term rentals would be allowed to keep running them but future ones would be banned or extremely restricted.

ÔÇ£I see draconian rules that are an overreach of county authority,” Hamilton said.
