    Provided the end date of your contract is later than your leave dates and there was no agreement that your last day of work was the day before you commenced leave then yes you should be accruing it. However sometimes depending on your paycycle etc it’s easier to wrap it all up in your final pay. They should have had that convo with you but it’s not unheard of

    Your leave balance should have been reduced by the hours you are taking, as well as increasing by one month accrued amount.

    You have taken leave for the full month of August, that’s 21 days. Those hours should have come off your leave balance.

    Call payroll and they should be able to explain it to you.
