By establishing a direct way for businesses to collaborate with trusted photographers and videographers, the founders saw an opportunity. “We’ve done photographer and videographer referrals with people we trust who we’ve worked with for years,” she added. “So we thought, why not create a platform that facilitates these connections?”

The website enables users to filter through a roster of photographers, videographers, and other talents based on specialty. “Just because one is good with headshots doesn’t mean they’ll know how to make a plate of nachos look enticing,” Stoker explained, indicating the nuanced needs of different types of content.

High-quality images and videos serve to enhance consumer trust, Stoker emphasized. “Many customers actively seek out businesses on social media before they make purchasing decisions,” she noted, underscoring the importance of visual storytelling in modern marketing.

TeBockhorst candidly shared, “A lot of times photo is very subjective — what your friend likes might not be what you like.” Frameflow addresses this challenge by allowing businesses to compare creative work side by side. This filtering feature empowers users to view selections based on both style and price point, a pivotal differentiator from other platforms.

Diverse Pricing Structures

Pricing for services on Frameflow is flexible, set by individual artists, and ranges from $200 for hour-long shoots to elaborate packages costing upwards of $10,000, which might include models, site designers, and more. Frameflow operates on a 15% commission model, ensuring that all communication and payment transactions occur directly through the platform, fostering transparency and trust.

Stoker and TeBockhorst highlighted a unique approach—most creative marketplaces charge artists for leads; however, of Frameflow, Stoker noted, “We only make money if the creator makes money.” This structure emphasizes a shared success model that could redefine industry standards.

Community of Creatives

Currently, Frameflow is live in Denver with around 45 creative professionals, primarily freelancers, whom the founders have previously collaborated with at Prim + Co.

Stoker expressed the critical issue many businesses face: “We’ve seen companies choose terrible photographers, videographers, and content creators, leading them to believe they can produce something that they can’t. But that’s where Frameflow comes in. It provides the ability to search for vetted professionals.”

Rigorous Vetting Process

When a new artist applies to be listed on Frameflow, the team thoroughly reviews their portfolio, website, and social media presence to verify legitimacy. In addition, TeBockhorst mentioned that they also evaluate reviews from platforms like Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau to gauge the quality of service provided over time to past clients.

Strategic Growth Plans

Thus far, Frameflow has successfully facilitated 12 projects. The team aims to expand its reach by rolling out the platform in cities such as Dallas and Phoenix, where they are actively building a community of freelancers. Their aspiration is to operate in 20 markets by the end of 2028, significantly broadening their impact.

Having self-funded the initial launch with $110,000, the founders are now engaging with potential investors to raise $500,000 by year-end. TeBockhorst indicated that these funds will likely be directed toward marketing efforts and website enhancements while both remain committed to their roles at Prim + Co.

A Vast Opportunity

Highlighting the market potential, TeBockhorst noted, “90% of small businesses use social media marketing, and there are hundreds of millions of small businesses in the country. If we even capture a small percentage of that market, we’ll do very well.”
