    Regardless of banks (big, small, credit unions) the same rules apply. Seems to be a possible privacy risk issue and no entity will allow it to happen.

    The other detail is that is concerning is the book-keeper a outside or inside the entity? If inside then shouldnÔÇÖt be an issue, if it is an outside supplier then again reverts back to point above.

    I use different banks for different things, and it seems to work:

    – NAB for mortgages. I get an extra $400 / month on my mortgage through a Defence scheme, so it makes sense to keep my mortgage there.

    – CBA for everyday banking and business services.

    – ANZ for low-rate credit cards. The ANZ credit security services and app are actually pretty good.

    – Peoples Choice CU for savings and personal loans

    For things like third party view only access to business accounts, typical branch staff won’t know anything or will give you the wrong information.

    The best source of info is online user guides. For some banks eg CBA , you’ll also need to use their proper online business banking platform rather than their normal app .

    Customer service overall really isn’t a good indicator of business service.

    I’ve only had good experiences with Bendigo Bank and like that they still have lots of operating branches in rural areas where other banks are closing the doors and forcing *often older less tech savvy people* online for services. I like thag i can just go to my local branch and talk to someone face to face but also have options to email, call and use app.
