Exciting Opportunity for High School Students in Douglas County

Umpqua Small Business Development Center and Umpqua Community College are thrilled to announce the launch of “Dream It/Do it’, a revolutionary summer day camp aimed at inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs in Douglas County.

This unique camp experience is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors in the county with the tools and inspiration they need to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Applications are now being accepted through Sunday, May 12th, giving interested students plenty of time to apply.

With the guidance of experienced business professionals, coaches, advisors, and peers, up to 25 students will have the opportunity to develop their business skills, work on exciting projects, and create comprehensive business plans. The camp’s mission is to instill in these young minds the belief that the journey to business ownership begins with a simple idea.

The “Dream It/Do It” camp will take place from June 24th-28th, running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at UCC. Meals will be provided for all participants, ensuring they can focus on their entrepreneurial journey without any distractions.
