From the research I’ve done, MSC cruise lines use your best option. There may be others, as I haven’t seen mention of any of the high end lines denying passage, so you might check into those lines. Carnival , Royal Caribbean and Disney are definite no-gos. Norwegian has recently been cancelling cruises for RSOs, but it seems to be a new policy which may not be globally accepted yet. If you live in Texas, you may be better off because you don’t have to report international travel before hand, and it seems like the cruise lines may be partially relying on the information they get from that report to act on denial of passage.
Honestly, just call them. I know it’s an awkward conversation, but it’s your best bet for correct information.

If you search the threads there is a lot on this topic. I was on Royal, using passport with stamp last June to the Caribbean. Stay away from any Mexican ports. Check the travel matrix, and call consulates ahead of time. Keep paperwork on you.

I don’t think any. Passports in USA now have a code telling the world your label. I have no experience. International travel is very difficult for us.

I am on a Norwegian Alaskan cruise right this second. The person I was going with was canceled by Norwegian, approximately 48 hours before boarding. He doesnÔÇÖt even have a passport, he was going with the birth certificate and drivers license option.

I am thinking that the cancellation was due to Canada? But Norwegian didnÔÇÖt really give any specific reason why. They said they use a private background company, and based on the information they turned in, he was canceled.

    Great to hear.

Thank you for all the feedback. My girlfriend contacted Norwegian and they told her that theyÔÇÖre denying RSOÔÇÖs.
We were pretty set on the Caribbean but I believe weÔÇÖll just vacation somewhere stateside instead.
I usually go out to Arizona every year as my son and grandkids live there. Arizona allows you 10 days before reporting.
WeÔÇÖre now looking at Myrtle Beach or the Outter Banks in NC.

We have a cruise from LA to Cabo on celebrity. We just got an email to contact the executive office.
I did have a friend call and ask about RSOÔÇÖs and they said it was fine.
    So we will see.
