    How longs your notice? If your not sure check your contract. If you don’t have a copy, ask hr via email for one. You don’t need to specify why you want your contract.

    You write a letter/email to hr and cc in your direct manager confirming you will be leaving in x week(s) as of x date and your last day will be y date.

    If you just don’t turn up one day they can potentially charge you for the cost of hiring a temp (but only the difference between your wage and the temp wage)

    If you feel your mental health is affected, you can always go to the drs and get a sick note for your notice period.

    Although you state you have transferred, an employer can still include a probationary period.

    If this is explicitly mentioned in a signed contract, and your employer has not tried to contest it, it would still stand and therefore your notice is 1 week.

    An employer cannot reject a resignation. You have given notice, and that still stands whether they acknowledge it or not.
