Billionaire investor Warren Buffett expressed his interest in the Indian market, emphasizing the untapped opportunities that his conglomerate holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, aims to explore in the future. At Berkshire’s annual meeting, he highlighted the potential in India, the world’s fifth-largest economy, in response to a query from Rajeev Agarwal of DoorDarshi Advisors, a US-based hedge fund focusing on Indian equities.

“It is a very good question. Despite the recent divestment, he affirmed that Apple will likely remain one of Berkshire’s largest holdings in the long term. Moreover, he expressed confidence in Vice Chairmen Greg Abel and Ajit Jain to lead Berkshire effectively post his tenure.
