Need to give your state for helpful info.

County is easier imo because people come and go so often. Where I was you didn’t necessarily have papers.

Some people were able to lie about why they were there.

Don’t gamble or borrow things. Keep to yourself. Don’t look for fights but don’t come off as a punk.

My bf hasn’t had any issues in county, he’s done time in one county where they’re in a general population and they put him with the violent offenders in max and he was fine.
The other county he was in the sexual offense unit and he hates it there, they’re always getting their privileges taken away because people can’t behave.
I was literally on our video call the one day and saw 2 men beating the crap out of each other.
He’s going up state soon so hopefully it’ll be fine. Heard up state is easier than county.

As long as you mind your business and don’t cause trouble you’ll be okay.
Important to note my bf was also a nervous wreck going to jail, he called me every day for 3 months begging me to get him out, can’t get someone out who doesn’t have a bail lol.
he’s use to it now and adjusted well. Ready to just finish his time and come home.
He’s been in 10 months so far, got 2.5 years to go, his charges are statutory.

Jail was HELL. Food was bad, people were violent and judgmental. Everything about it was bad.
