    This just happened to me, in the reverse. I was buying a house with 5 lots and the original closing documents only listed two lots. Luckily we caught it at the attorney’s office and it was quickly fixed. The attorney said it happens once in a while and it gets fixed somewhat easily, as it’s what was intended. You may not have paid any extra taxes, however if you did you will be made whole. From what I understood, all parties want the mistake fixed and moving on. I am not an attorney.

    Did you have a closing attorney? You should have had one representing you. Call them and get them involved. Sign nothing.

    This is too complicated for reddit lawyers. Contact a real property lawyer. Preferrably a lawyer that handles both transactional and litigation property issues, or a firm that has departments housing both types of lawyers.
