## AI Legalese Decoder: Helping Navigate VES C&P Exams
### Introduction
Today, I had a Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) Compensation and Pension (C&P) exam to assess my muscle-skeletal claims. Initially, everything seemed to be going smoothly until I mentioned that my medical condition limits my ability to exercise, resulting in weight gain deemed as obesity based on certain standards. This disclosure seemed to negatively impact the demeanor of my examiner, who suddenly became curt and distant.
### Examination Experience
The examiner, who was around 5’2” and weighed over 200lbs, appeared to take my comment personally, even though my intention was solely to provide relevant information about my health situation. Despite my efforts to clarify, the atmosphere of the examination became tense.
### Recommendations and Future Steps
Towards the end of the exam, the examiner suggested that I should undergo x-rays before submitting any further claims. This indicates that additional tests, such as MRIs, may be necessary to evaluate my condition further.

****** just grabbed a
Bitch we fat.
xrays / mri’s would always be needed for a claim otherwise the c&p examiner doesn’t have apiece of the objective medical evidence plus it’s hard for a doc to give a muscle skeletol diagnosis with out that, just be sure to do it within 12 months to lock in your date
I am very self conscious about being at the low end of obese because of psych medications making me gain extreme weight in just a month with zero control. Often when I would talk about my depression the topic of me being obese would eventually come up and I’d get a look from you’d guess it, an obese psychiatrist or therapist. Thing is it’s different when you’re talking about yourself and just trying to open up, you’re not thinking about them until their looks/change in demeanor make it weird. I was just previously used to always holding myself to a higher standard of fitness before my psychosis. I’d never fat shame someone else but I definitely feel ashamed of myself even though the meds are documented to cause severe weight gain.
Lol …you’re so screwed😂. Just kidding. She still has to follow the DBQ, and if it was a claim that had to be measured with a Goniometer, she would have to write those measurements down. You probably have X-ray and MRIs on file to support your claim. Don’t overthink it and drive yourself crazy, you might be fine. Just wait for the results and then plan your next move.
When I did my C&P for similar claims I already had taken xrays but did not have them in hand. so my examiner said get them to me today or I will schedule you for more. They are required for some claims.
She was probably just hungry. Bring a snickers to your next exam
You do need those for a fully developed claim. So you will need to get them done before they can make a decision. That is based off my c&p exam. I don’t think you said anything wrong. But. They denied my claim because I was obese and they stated my pain was from me being obese not because I was injured. Good luck.
I was told your c&p examiner will request xrays or mri if needed. Because I don’t have up to date xrays or an mri for my conditions and tried to get some but pcp said c&p will do them.
My c and p examiner did xrays on site for my rhinitus.
If you did things right , the C&P examiner has assets to your records and can see your X-rays or MRI’s
🤣🤣🤣
Seriously tho, never give up. And look for your secondary conditions.😵💫
The C&P examiner sent me out for X-Rays, and they showed how utterly fucked my knees were.
I think you just got a bad examiner lol 😂 at the same time if you haven’t been to sick call or have any proof of the conditions you’re claiming then that’s the next step. My spine is fucked up but while I was in I didn’t feel the need to get it checked out. About a month after I got out ; I’ve been to two different chiropractors and both have stated that I have spinal subluxation with x-rays as proof as well 🙃
👀
If you didn’t, she would’ve anyways.
I wouldn’t worry too much about it. What I would do is figure out what you’re gonna be denied for read your denial letter. I’d call
1800 827 1000 VA hot line. Request a new c&p exam. I would also go to the VA or your private Doctor and get those. MRI and Xray That’s gonna be your backbone to getting service connection. If by chance, she connects you at 0%. That’s great all you have to do then, Is go get those MRIs and x-rays and file for an increase on VA .gov website then do the supplemental claim. That’s how I did mine the first go around. I hope this helps it important to educate yourself on the VA process. The upside of this is you just gonna get back pay once you get service connected. Don’t mess around, if it was me. I wouldn’t even wait on the decision letter. I’d go get a jump on the Mri and x-rays and talk about my symptoms as there related to the 38cfr and M21-1 Manue,l hint (nugget). Build your medical evidence claim, then submitted as a supplement claim. Once the claim closes just resubmit the the new supplemental evidence and request a new CAP exam. I’d also do a self statement on form 21-4138 Explain your difficulties to your symptoms and how they relate to you and do not diagnos your self on the form. You are not a Dr. What you can do is talk about your symptoms in simple terms. Go on va website read the (dbq) disability quesionare on Muscoskeleton, Because they will base you on range of motion not so much what wrong with you. What’s on the x-rays and or MRI hold weight to getting connected is key for the range of motion exam. Dropped Another Nugget..

Yeah you pissed her ass off bro
