I think the real issue may be consent. If she claimed that she didnÔÇÖt give consent, he is in a heap of trouble. Did she get pregnant and said it was rape given not wanting to tell parents she was sexually active? Now that she is older, will she still say the same thing? She obviously went to the police years ago or there would not be a warrant.

You need to distance yourself for the time being. And call the police department and ask them for the police report and anything else that will show you his actual charges and what they say happened. My BD was arrested for child p*** and he lied to me that it wasnÔÇÖt like that and they were 16-17 not children. And I was only 16 at the time so I believed him. Finally when he was about to get out of prison I called the police department and actually spoke directly with the detective that handled his case and OMG it was horrible and disgusting and I literally threw up while on the phone.

OP you keep saying that youÔÇÖre relying on information from the police- IÔÇÖd be careful putting your faith in that alone. The police will lie to you and him in order to get him to comply or confess based on his trust for them. Or- for you to give them information that might be of help in their investigation.
ItÔÇÖs also a technique thatÔÇÖs especially used in sex crime – oh yeah, itÔÇÖs not a big deal, she lied to him about her age, heÔÇÖll be out of here in no time etc. lowers your guard, and people talk more (and incriminate themselves and others) when theyÔÇÖve lowered their guard.
