W South Beach, a renowned Marriott hotel in Miami, has recently unveiled its $6 million ballroom and meeting space renovation. This renovation comes as a significant upgrade to the hotel’s event and meeting facilities, enhancing the overall guest experience and positioning the hotel as a premier choice for events and conferences.

The newly renovated space is equipped with innovative 360 projection technology, making it the first hotel in North America to feature this technology. The built-in projection system utilizes only light, making it an energy-efficient solution that bypasses traditional limitations found in venue-specific projection mapping. The space also includes four presentation projectors built into the ceiling, 24 built-in microphones for speech reinforcement and recording, and 32 audio speakers for high-performance sound.

W South Beach also offers three renovated studios, each capable of holding up to 60 people. These studios are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including 75ÔÇØ LCD monitors, wireless internet and HDMI connectivity, and dimmable soft white LED and recess lighting. They can be combined to create a larger space as needed.

The recent $30 million renovation of W South Beach in November 2020 further enhanced the hotel’s guest experience. The renovation focused on the hotel’s 357 guest suites, Away Spa, and iconic swimming pools, WET and Mini WET. The hotel’s 400 rooms, the largest guest rooms in South Beach, offer balconies and expansive ocean views. The rooms were redesigned with a brighter feel, incorporating beach house-style millwork, natural oaks, neutral textures, and a calming color palette with accents of soft corals and shaded teals. High-tech elements, such as circadian lighting with preset mood modes and under bed lights, provide a futuristic touch.
