## Introduction

Hey Everyone. I hope you are having a great day. I have been delving into the world of ETF’s for the past couple of weeks and have finally honed in on a clear investment goal.

## Investment Strategy

I have decided to allocate a fixed amount of money monthly into three specific indexes: VUSA/SXR8, SXRV, and VWCE/IWDA in a 40/40/20 ratio. This strategic allocation reflects my investment objectives and risk tolerance.

## Choosing Between iShares and Vanguard

I am currently torn between iShares and Vanguard for the S&P 500 and World indexes. Both funds have similar Total Expense Ratios (TER) and large fund sizes. However, I am unsure if there are any significant differences that may impact my investment decisions in the long run.

## Potential Tax Implications

I am also considering the potential tax implications of holding three separate ETF’s, particularly as I am utilizing Interactive Brokers (IBKR) as my platform. Being subject to wealth tax in the Netherlands, I want to ensure that I am aware of any additional taxes or expenses that may arise due to my investment choices.

Why not the other way around? Put more in the more diversified one and take a higher risk on a lower percentage of your portfolio?

Having given the not requested opinion, Vanguard or iShares are both pretty reputable and will not go wrong with either of them.

But keep in mind that VWCE and IWDA **are not the same**.

**VWCE** also covers the emerging markets and has around 3600 positions, while **IWDA** only covers the developed markets and has around 1500 positions. Something closer to it would be **SSAC** from iShares which also covers emerging markets and totals ~2500 positions.

Regarding **VUSA** and **SXR8**, the first one is a distributing one and the second one an accumulating one. Make sure to pick the one that better suits you.

Also for S&P 500 you also could choose **SPXS** from Ivesco, that is a synthetic replication and the TER is a bit lower than on the other ones.

Ishares or vanguard does not matter.

However buying all world and sp500 together is pointless as allworld’s 70% is sp500. You just waste money on fees.
