## Persistent Contact Attempts by Civil Process Servers

For the past 9 months, civil process servers have been relentlessly attempting to contact me, claiming to have legal documents to deliver. Despite their persistence over the phone, I have not received any notices in person. They have not knocked on my door or made any attempts at my workplace. Their reference to changing “case numbers” adds to the confusion. I have even paid a service fee to the county courts to search for my name over the past 20 years, but there is no matching case.

### How AI Legalese Decoder Can Help

The AI Legalese Decoder can analyze the information provided by civil process servers and help determine the validity of the claims and the legal procedures involved. It can cross-reference the alleged case numbers and search for any existing court filings related to my name. Additionally, it can provide insights into the possibility of a law office producing a case against me without filing it with the courts.

## Legal Documentation Delivery Process

I am questioning whether a law office can produce a case against an individual and initiate a court case without officially filing it with the courts. My experience with serving someone with a restraining order involved getting the local sheriff’s involved to ensure legal documents were delivered properly. The absence of any communication or documents from the civil process servers raises significant doubts and concerns regarding the situation.

### How AI Legalese Decoder Can Help

The AI Legalese Decoder can assist in understanding the legal procedures and requirements for filing a court case properly. It can provide insights into the standard protocols for delivering legal documents and the consequences of failing to do so. By analyzing the details of the claims made by the civil process servers, the AI Legalese Decoder can help in evaluating the validity of the situation and determining the necessary steps to address it effectively.

It’s a scummy debt collection agency. I get similar calls regarding an ex-wife I haven’t seen in over 30 years (yeah, I was one of those dumb Privates in the Army). There is no case, and what they are doing is illegal in all states. Only things you can do are contact your state and federal consumer protection agencies, and on the off chance you find their actual corporate name, you may be able to bring a small claims action.

Or it’s a scam. The average law firm doesn’t call you to tell you that you’ve been sued.

Our state law enforcement agency warned of scams like this last year. Warrants and legal documents are not handled over the phone. They are simply after your personal and financial information. I’ve gotten calls like this, and they can be persistent. After 3 days of voice mails, I got a “final warning.”

Court cases are public record, and process servers don’t try to call you.

Either a scam or debt collector lying to you.

Probably not real, but… are you sure you are searching the right court? Counties typically have several courts. You could ask one court to do a search, and they find nothing because you case is in a different court in the county. What state are you in? You might even have an online search available.

9 times out of 10 it’s not even a debt collection agency. It’s almost always a scam or fraudulent activity. I due debt collection for a state agency that also deals with fraud and in no way do we operate like this. I have no outstanding debt but because our contact info is public I constantly get these calls. I tell them I work in fraud prevention and would like their business info they almost always immediately hang up. Ignore them or mess with them, it’s up to you.
