Texas court case backlog. A lot of judges are speeding up cases to clear out the cache and Police don’t really have much time on their hands to be focusing on that kind of stuff. Sure you may have a nosy neighbor or perhaps a bored officer but a lot of these officers don’t really care. Seriously, they do not care because a lot of their work is clerical and quite an amount of these officers know how BS the system is themselves, they usually only enforce it to look good on the camera for the sake of politics or if they know the person is actually a “danger”. I could give you a list of examples of this happening if need be.

When IÔÇÖm Lubbock they came out and checked every year. It was a big initiative they put forth and informed the local news on how safe they are keeping everyone.
Other than Lubbock I have not experienced a home check.

Been on the registry for 20 years and lived in 5 states. A few places have been consistent but the rest it was a rare occurrence to see them. I think thereÔÇÖs more federal funding and coordination w the U.S. Marshalls so the frequency is picking up in more places.

Im in a rural area in California and the only time I had a check for my yearly registration was while I was on parole. After, not once in 5 years.

WeÔÇÖre in Dallas and weÔÇÖre headed in that direction hopefully but they are speeding up cases because my son was finally indicted but when I was living in one specific apartment complex, I had a game member threatened to shoot me and my dog and that police officer said we are so short staffedthat you most likely would never see me even if you got shot so if theyÔÇÖre not gonna come out for a shooting victim, I doubt theyÔÇÖre gonna come out for that
