More than just the beer draws people to Ironbark Brewing Co.

Ironbark Brewing Co.

Ironbark Brewing Company began in 2017 with a vision of offering a neighborhood brewery with a variety of experiences, co-owner Nathan Brue said. This is achieved through creative beer recipes and food, he said.

All the food is made by Kibby Cobb Deli, which is owned by Adam Cyrocki, who also shares ownership of the brewery, Brue said. People can expect to find a variety of items they can find at the deli, including bagel sandwiches, deli sandwiches and gourmet hot dogs.

The most popular sandwich ordered at the brewery is The Yuppie, which comes with roasted turkey, avocado, spinach, red onion, tomato, and garlic herb aioli.

Seafood boil, etouffee makes The Deck Down Under a destination restaurant

The Deck Down Under wants patrons to enjoy items that are unique – something the restaurant achieves by offering dishes they wouldnÔÇÖt be able to make on their own.

Owner Scott Burns and chef Megan Vilminot are always rotating specials depending on the season. Last week, they introduced some items that will spread through the end of summer and lead into fall, Burns said.

One of these specials was the etouffee, an item The Deck Down Under had previously taken off its menu but brought back by popular request for a limited time. This dish features shrimp over seasoned rice, which is smothered in a creamy southern-spiced sauce with caramelized onions and sauteed peppers.
