Call the police. You cannot be sure if this is indeed a P. I.
    You could be in danger.

  • kisskismet

Call police and tell them someone is stalking you. TheyÔÇÖll handle it.

  • Toob_ular

Can you get a plate number and pic of them?

  • Carlpanzram1916

It honestly sounds like a stalker. I donÔÇÖt know anything about your husbandÔÇÖs financial situation but a PI costs at least $50/hr so unless you think your husband is shelling out tens of thousands of dollars to monitor your activities, something else is going on. IÔÇÖd call the cops.

  • BornFree2018

    A PI is really expensive!

Call the police, theyÔÇÖll talk with the PI and get their ID and tell them to shove off. Stalking is illegal.

  • AccomplishedTune3297

Normally they are hired by insurance companies, are you involved in any insurance claims or personal injury stuff?

  • robertva1

Call the. Police. Report him as a stalker. Especially since you a woman. Video him. Staking you.

  • Howwouldiknow1492

Yup, most likely your ex trying to dig up dirt. Call the police and tell them you’re being stalked. Get the license plate number and take a picture of the car for them.

  • 1663_settler

He obviously wants you to know heÔÇÖs watching you. Call the police tell them youÔÇÖre being stalked. If this was legitimate you wouldnÔÇÖt even know he was there, I know, I used to do this for a living.

  • h-boson

Start taking pictures or video of him every time you see him. Log the dates and times from the image data. Try to get his face and license plate. Then when you report him to the cops and they approach him, you have extensive evidence of exact dates, times and locations that he has been stalking you. You should also report him as a stalker, not PI. Because as far as youÔÇÖre concerned, thats what he is doing.

  • ShowMeTheTrees

Has anyone else seen this PI?

  • LovlyRita

My bil used to follow people for a workmanÔÇÖs comp insurance attorney.

  • Mean-Vegetable-4521

Call the police. These are not typical actions of a PI. Or any kind of legal surveillance. Something is really off about this.

  • Many-Location-643

    have a friend confront them…

  • danielle71989

I’d be looking up the requirements in my state for PIs (assuming in the US).. and then calling PD to document that you are seemingly under surveillance. Ultimately, might be worth consulting with a local attorney to see if you can get an answer.

  • Striking_Scientist68

Call the police. Change up your schedule. Drive different routes. Use alternative means of transportation. Make it hard for them. Have frequent get together with as many people as you can. For fun, if you can, hire your own PI to follow the first PI.

  • fresitachulita

No idea why you would assume this is an investigator. Call the police

  • DeathWalkerLives

Call a couple buddies to arrive in different cars at the same time together and box him in. ƒÿÇ

    And (seriously) call the police.

  • Magoo69X

PI surveiling you usually means a workers comp or accident case – insurance companies do this all the time. I’d just call the police next time you see him sitting there and they’ll check his credentials.

  • ShowMeTheTrees

This is reddit. How often have we seen posts like this and the OP is experiencing an unfortunate mental health crisis?

  • False-Imagination355

    Sounds like a stalker

  • mcgee00

I thought after noticing a PI 3x, its considered harassment? Either way, definitely involve the police. Next time you see this person, call the police and get them involved and you might get some answers.

  • Both-Programmer-9071

Anything workman comp or unemployment could involve a private investigator. Or home occupancy

  • Sanjuko_Mamaujaluko

Are you sure they’re watching you and not one of the neighbors? If I was a PI I wouldn’t park right across the street from the person I’m investigating, I’d park a few houses away, but I’d still leave if someone was coming to talk to me. Are you by any chance receiving a disability benefit or insurance payout based on an injury or disability? It’s completely normal for insurance companies to watch a person to make sure their ailment is real. Maybe someone a few doors away from you is being watched for this?

  • DizzyZygote

You have any recent disability awards or filed any actions against an insurance company? Home owners insurance will send a private investigator when you claim an injury and for damages. I had one try and follow me around after I broke my leg in someones front yard. They just watched me shoot a game of pool with a hip high leg brace on.
