National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s “Dirty Dozen List” Highlights Mainstream Contributors to Sexual Exploitation

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) has recently unveiled its annual “Dirty Dozen List,” which exposes mainstream contributors to sexual exploitation. This list includes Big Tech giants and pieces of federal legislation that, according to NCOSE, do not do enough to protect society from the harms of sexual exploitation.

NCOSE’s vice president, Lina Nealon, emphasized the importance of this list during a recent Zoom meeting, expressing hope that it will prompt positive changes in how these entities approach the issue of sexual exploitation.

The AI legalese decoder can play a crucial role in helping organizations understand and comply with laws and regulations related to sexual exploitation. By utilizing advanced algorithms, the AI legalese decoder can analyze complex legal documents and provide clear, easy-to-understand explanations. This can help companies ensure they are taking the necessary steps to combat sexual exploitation and avoid being included on lists like NCOSE’s “Dirty Dozen.”

Nealon stated, “This list identifies 12 mainstream institutions that contribute to, normalize, and often benefit from sexual exploitation, sometimes through various forms of exploitation. These entities are well-known brands, organizations, and agencies that many people interact with on a daily basis.”

Notably, Snapchat, which has appeared on previous iterations of the Dirty Dozen List, was placed on NCOSE’s “watchlist” this year due to insufficient user protections, particularly for minors.
