ESCP Business School Launches Women in Finance Chair

Partnership with Renowned Industry Leaders

ESCP Business School is proud to announce the launch of its first chair dedicated to women in finance. The school is excited to partner with industry leaders representing the diversity of the sector, including AMALA Partners, ARDIAN, EIGHT ADVISORY, LOMBARD ODIER, ONDRA, and VAUBAN INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERS.      

The Women in Finance Chair will be co-directed by Almudena Canibano and Marion Festing, professors specializing in human resources and intercultural leadership.

This five-year Chair will address the under-representation of women in finance, analyzing the causes of this deficit in collaboration with partner companies.

Human Resources-Based Approach

The Chair’s distinctive feature is its human resources-based approach. It aims to identify reasons for the under-representation of women and to explore best practices and challenges in attracting, retaining, and promoting women in finance.

Workshops and Future Initiatives

Furthermore, a choice of workshops was offered to over 100 participants, covering topics such as job opportunities in finance, gender diversity programs, the importance of ESG in career choices, and work-life balance in the finance industry.
