A Toxic Boss: A Manager’s Nightmare

I should preface this with my boss hasn’t been a good manager from Day 1. My first meeting on my first day at this company with her was 2 years ago where she told me "I’m going through a grieving process and won’t have the energy to be a good manager for you". Boy was this true! Since then, she’s done two things:

The Situation Deteriorates

Things have gotten increasingly worse since I informed her of my pregnancy in February. Couple examples:

1. In March, during a team meeting, she called me out and blamed me for a major task my coworker is responsible for and did not do. This task is not in my job description, and both my coworker and boss are on weekly calls to go over this process. I am not involved nor invited to those calls, but was berated in front of everyone at this meeting for something my coworker missed. I actually escalated this situation to my director (boss’s boss) because it was uncomfortable and again, not part of my job duties. My director told me I should deal with it myself and just tell my boss it hurt my feelings. I decided this isn’t a good idea given the circumstances and wasn’t comfortable doing so.
2. I was told to find my own coverage for maternity leave in October and then that my position was being split between 3 people. One of the people covering for me is the same coworker from the first issue. My boss definitely shows favoritism with telling me all the ways she’s going to grow her career (a conversation that’s never happened with me). I should note that both my boss and my coworker are single. My boss has made negative comments about marriage/family life in the past.
3. Last Monday, my coworker told me my boss told her she needs to fully ready to take over my role by July. This seemed really strange since I won’t be going on leave until mid-October and my boss never told me about this deadline. My boss still hasn’t shared this deadline.
4. Last Wednesday, my boss started our 1v1 asking about my "personal stressful situation" (pregnancy). Confused by her phrasing, I answered that both the baby and I are healthy with no issues. She then proceeded to tell me that an email I sent was unacceptable, ruining my reputation, accusatory, and purposely biting someone’s head off to make it so no one will want to work with me. I asked "Can you please provide me with other examples because I truly am confused on what to change". She responded with "I have to protect those people from you so I’ll think about it".
