Heading: Current Post-Release Supervision Status and Absence of Urinalysis Testing for Ten Years

Content:

I have been under post-release supervision for a substantial tenure of ten years, out of which five years have been marked by exemplary behavior. As of now, I have been on supervision for nearly 2.5 years, during which I have not encountered any disciplinary write-ups, arrests, or encounters with law enforcement since my original arrest, which occurred nearly a decade ago. This aspect, while acceptable to me, does raise some curious questions regarding the absence of urinalysis testing since my time in prison, which feels peculiar.

Though the lack of urinalysis testing may be a moot point considering I am not involved in any activities such as smoking, drug usage, or anything that could potentially yield a positive result, it still strikes me as peculiar. I am not particularly concerned about being subjected to a urinalysis as I am confident it would produce a negative outcome. I wasnÔÇÖt piss tested till my last day on probation and that was 3 years long. It really depends on the PO what their thoughts on you are.

  • [deleted]

I was only tested when moving down in custody level and only piss tested once in prison.

I have not had a polygraph since my first one in intake. No treatment other than AODA treatment in prison.

  • thebeardedbrony

I’ve only been tested in Prison, and my first Halfway Home. I told everyone straight up I only smoked weed to help me to get to sleep, as it was the BEST sleep medicine I ever had.

  • Longjumping_Being_43

In my Judgement and Commitment, it is stated that urinalysis has been suspended for me. I was piss tested regularly in pretrial and in the Big House but after release my PO said no drug testing for me. I guess because I passed everyone in pretrial. Like you, I don’t use.

Idk my husband was piss tested for 2.5 years during his entire parole, but his offense also had drugs and alcohol involved so idk if thatÔÇÖs why they continued to do it the entire time

  • Weight-Slow

My guy was tested 3x in one week then not again for 2 years.

I swear I think they use a random number generator.

  • ItGetsBetter82

I was on probation 3 years. Never piss tested one time.

  • DirectorSHU

I never did a polygraph test during my “3 year probationary” period. Got pissed tested a lot. Sometimes you get lucky. Other times not.

  • IronDillon

Check your J&C, mine says mandatory testing is waived.

I got tested 0 on pretrial, three times in prison, weekly in the halfway house, and just starting release. We’ll see.

  • Awkward_Payment5130

I’ve been on supervised release for three years and never had a test done. So it’s not uncommon. If you don’t have a drug history, most POs won’t waste their time with it.
