I am planning to reach out to Macquarie on Monday regarding a recent issue I encountered with my Cash Management Account. I would like to hear if anyone else has faced a similar situation and if they have any insights to share.
I recently mistakenly transferred funds into my Cash Management Account instead of my Everyday Transaction account. However, I am now unable to find a way to transfer it back out, as there is no suitable option available under the “I want” button.
I attempted to work around this issue by utilizing the Pay Anyone or Transfer options and entering the BSB and ACC number. Unfortunately, the account number for the Cash Management Account is longer than usual, resulting in an error message stating ‘can’t use this account’ when inputted.
It is important to note that the purpose of transferring the funds is to pay off a credit card balance.
If anyone has any suggestions or assistance to offer, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just checked, the option is there for me. it’s the second in the list.
Ignore the 000 at the start of the CMA account number.
I don’t bank with Macquarie but had the exact same issue with ANZ in the past. Try online banking rather than the app and it might have a seperate area where your investments including this account can be managed. If it’s the same as ANZ though annoyingly it can take 1-3 days to transfer back!
