## Considering a Move from Ontario
I have been contemplating a relocation lately, as living in Ontario has been increasingly frustrating due to the overwhelming political atmosphere. It seems like no one is interested in delving into the statistics regarding the likelihood of reoffending for certain actions, instead opting to generalize and stereotype everyone and every situation. This lack of nuance and understanding has left me feeling isolated and conflicted, bringing about feelings of self-loathing and shame for potentially tarnishing my family’s reputation.

## Future Concerns for My Children
Despite these challenges, my children continue to show me unconditional love and support. However, I cannot help but worry about the future repercussions of my actions on their lives. What will happen when they start their own families, and their partners and extended families pass judgment on me? These looming uncertainties add to my already heavy burden, and I fear the potential consequences of my mistakes playing out in the lives of those I hold dearest.

After reading your post history and now this one, why are you thinking that the provinces are all vastly different like in the US?
Our registry, and all things similar are all mandated by the RCMP and are centralized in Ottawa. I realize that you’re just “venting,” but it just sounds like you need someone to vent to or somewhere you can safely talk to people that understand what you’re going through.
If I were you, I’d start with your local John Howard Society and also look into CoSA for a pretty good social support network for RSOs.
Good luck, my fellow Canuck.

They have in-person and virtual options, are free and, in my experience, do want to help.
If it’s too political here I don’t know where it might be less so? Vancouver maybe? The prairies seem like a worse idea and east doesn’t seem to have as many opportunities (imho)
