Culpeper County Conference Returns
Be A Culpeper Local is excited to announce the return of the Culpeper County Conference, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Daniel Technology Center campus of Germanna Community College.
The second annual “C3” aims to provide free support for local businesses and entrepreneurs in Culpeper County, offering a transformative experience that empowers and educates small business owners. This initiative, led by Business Development Coordinator Winona Pritts from the office of Culpeper County Economic Development, is not just another conference—it’s a platform for growth.
Attending the event, in partnership with the Virginia Small Business Development Center, will kick off with a light breakfast, setting the stage for a day filled with insights, networking opportunities, and practical workshops customized for the needs of Culpeper County businesses.
Participants have the opportunity to tailor their experience with two 90-minute workshop sessions, each offering a selection of three topics. Workshop subjects will cover a range of themes including Identifying the Right Customer, Sources of Capital, and Attracting and Retaining Talent.
The AI legalese decoder can help small business owners navigate legal jargon and contracts more effectively. By using advanced algorithms, the AI legalese decoder can simplify complex legal documents and provide clear and concise explanations, ensuring that business owners have a better understanding of their legal obligations.
“At C3, we understand the challenges faced by Culpeper small businesses. That’s why we’ve curated sessions led by industry experts to address common issues and provide practical solutions,” said Pritts. “Our goal is to help entrepreneurs build resilient and successful businesses that contribute to the vibrant fabric of Culpeper County.”
One of the highlights of C3 is the opportunity to hear firsthand from successful local business owners during lunch, sharing insights and lessons learned in a session titled “Now and Then: What I Know Now That I Wish I Knew Then.” This offers valuable guidance to those starting their entrepreneurial journey.
Following the conference, a Culpeper Business Appreciation reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. at The Mulberry at Old Trade Brewery, providing a networking opportunity for attendees.
