Had mine for an appeal yesterday. Went very well. The doctor corrected a bunch of wrong information from the initial exam.

Breathe, and be brutally honest. You can do this.

This is your chance to plead your case, leave no thought untold, leave no stone unturned, be like me and be the reason your CP examiner has to see a therapist…..

Mine is coming up on the 29th. I have already stopped talking…lol.

I did mine virtually last week. It went a lot better than I thought it would though I have no idea what the outcome is going to be. Good luck to you!

I did mine yesterday. It was lengthy, the doctor wanted basically my whole history. But he was friendly and professional. I asked him about how long he’s been doing the exams towards the end and just reiterated how picky the VA is about the exam reports and how the wrong verbiage can derail your entire claim. He agreed, said he’s been doing these exams for 15 years, assured me he knew what he was doing. He told me based on what he’s heard they’re getting to these claims within a few months and told me he expected a positive result in my case.

Be cool, don’t hold back and good luck!

I did mine via telehealth visit and the doc asked questions super casual like “so I don’t suppose you have any trouble sleeping” “I don’t suppose you have any drug or alcohol problems” it was a little bizarre. And it only lasted like 7 minutes. This was back in January and I’m still waiting for a decision.

  • slippyjippy69

Hope yours goes better than mine, homie. I told my wholse story in vivid detail, and the examiner still failed to appropriately mark the symptoms category. Now ive gotta hustle up and write personal statement, and snag some buddy letters. Good luck!!

I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist in January for ptsd and anxiety disorder. I ended up going see a psychiatrist bc at drill I thought at the time I was having a heart attack. They took me to the emergency room. Turns out it was an anxiety attack. Got an LOD for it. Told my psychiatrist about the shit I’ve been through from the military and she agrees that my ptsd and anxiety probably stem from it. She even wrote a nexus letter stating so. No c&p exam has been scheduled just yet. But with my luck I’ll be denied.
