****** just grabbed a
Virgin would not match this offer for me. Customer for 11 years. I said if they didnÔÇÖt match it I was hanging up and signing up with Koodo, they said ÔÇ£byeÔÇØ. Crazy business model.
DonÔÇÖt see it on mine ÔÇô web or app.
virgin would not match this offer for me
Edit: I tried last night and tried tonight. Both agents couldn’t match. Very clearly stuck to a script. So, I left. Switched to a new provider. Well done virgin…
The deal is now 40G for $34, at least for new subscribers
Not seeing this offer on my account.
For me the offer popped up right in the “My Account” app. No human interaction required. I was on $35 / 20 GB winback plan, so also saved a dollar to gain 10 GB.
Fido is now offering 30GB for $29. Best deal on the market.
Just a general comment, are phone plans finally getting cheaper and better in Canada compared to say three years ago? I was paying 45$ for 10GB and now I got the koodo 45$ for 60GB. Couldn’t switch to a 30-35$ plan tho with my tab.
I only have 45GB for $39.99 as an offer
I just got offered $29 for 35GB. Was already a virgin customer but asked for a cancelation request yesterday. Received a text message this morning to call the win back department and was offered the plan.
Just went to Pacific Centre in Vancouver and Virgin is offering $30 for 30GB
I tried and was told itÔÇÖs not possible. Switched to Koodo.
I called and told them I am leaving I arranged a call with their retention department. All they wanted to do was sign me up for home Internet. They would not match Fido. So I switched.
I spent 40 minutes with costumer service trying to get that offer. Nope, they would only give me a more expensive package. I told them I was switching providers and they gave me accurate instructions on how to port my number. Now I’m a happy Public Mobile costumer.
Any idea how long the rate last for? Is it for a year ? 18 months ?
40 gigs right now for new customers
Just went from $39 for 20GB to $40 for 45GB via my Virgin Mobile app, Alberta.
PM is $34/40GB 5G, but good luck signing up right now, their servers are being DDoS’ed.
I left virgin because they wouldn’t Honor it and I ended up with better service at home. Go figure.
Feel free to use my referral code to get an additional $50 credit or $5/month on your billing for 10 months.

I called yesterday and eventually got 30gb for $35 with a loyalty discount on my $60 with 4gb plan.
All the cellphone companies are offering this deal. Koodo, Freedom, Public, Fido.
It’s best to find the cell phone company affiliated with who you’re currently with to avoid any transfer fees. It also makes the transition a lot smoother. So if you’re with Rogers, look into fido. If you’re with Telus, look into Koodoo or public mobile.
I called Koodo and said I’m heading to Virgin for this deal, do you want to match? Couple mins later I had 40GB for 34.
In Ontario during online chat you can request 30GB for 30$ deal from Virgin. They easily gave it to me.
I just signed up with Virgin, 40GB for $34. New customer. NB.
ETA: 30 minutes ago
Anyone else phone not working after porting to virgin ??
Freedom bumped me from 10 to 20 GB without me even asking today. I don’t often go over 2 most month. Paying $35/mo.
i dont see it in my account
Virgin is $30/30g and Fido is $29/30g right now.
At this point I give up on staying with same company. I just plan hop every Black Friday/Boxing Day. It take less time to hop trying get through customer service and telling them Im a loyal customer and I dont want to hassle of transferring company, just offer me something similar. What I get In return is a big fat fuck you for spending whole day between online chat and phone calls to convince myself it is worth it to stay and save like less than $100 a year while going to competitor is just sign up online and enter payment info, all done in 10 min or less.
Virgin wouldn’t match any black Friday offer for me. Been a customer gor 3 years. Just kept saying it’s not available on your line and kept offering me more expensive plans. I called yo cancel and they said u’d get a call the next day from the loyalty dept but no one called. I switched to Koodo the same day.
Does Virgin rollover leftover data month to month?
Virgin wouldn’t switch me from 20 for $34 that I stupidly signed up for last Friday. Next day they offered the 30 for $34 deal.
Basically told me to stuff it, they wouldn’t switch me.
Then with the 40 for $34 I’m going to koodo.
I got a deal for 30Gb for 30$ yesterday at virgin
