Any plans below $30?
After all the heartache trying to get it yesterday, confirmed Fido is offering the $34/month for 40GB to all customers now, I got it through the app
Is anyone else sick of the telecoms giving “good” deals by giving more and more data? I’ve never used more than 3 gb of data and that was during a 4 day power failure! I want a 25$ plan, screw these 50 gb plans.
Do any carriers/retailer have decent plan + subsidized phone + gift card deals? Last year Walmart gave you a $250 gift card for getting a Pixel 7 for $0 down and $0/mo with a 30GB $34/mo plan on Virgin (Koodo/Fido were very similar).
Seems like all the carriers have minimum $50/mo plans if you want a phone this year.
QC btw.
I just scored a deal with Telus, $32.5 per month, 150GB, unlimited CA/US/MX/ calling + text, no porting / activation fees.
How:
2 Business lines (I have a corp, but this is mine and my wife’s phones)
ported from Bell (waives porting fees, and opens a special offer)
called an agent (deal not on website)
$20 per line credit for being an Ownr.co customer (a Telus partner)
opted into buying the “Business WiFi” plan, which is basically renting cisco mesh wifi hardware (brings the price down by another $20 per line)
Note: you pay $15 per month for the Business WiFi with a 3 year term, but you own the hardware… (think resale value)
you don’t have to use the Business WiFi, just let it collect dust.
if you have a corporation, this is unmatched from what I found so far.
I was looking for it as well. What the heck.

Fido website is down RN (at least if you sign in as existing customer and go to change plan), brutal.
For Fido users who got the 40gb for 34$, does it still says 39$ when you check your account?
Since the 5$ off is for automatic payments, will it only show up when they take payment?
I’m looking for a new phone, prob pixel 8 + plan. Any pros got some advice?
When do these Black Friday deals end? Today? Sunday? For example, Fido has 40 GB for $34/month on their site but it doesnÔÇÖt say when it expires.
For anyone who did take a black Friday deal early and are seeing the same provider offer an even better deal- try calling their customer retention/loyalty dept. I took a deal on a pixel 8 with freedom three days ago (wanted the phone early as I’m leaving on vacation today) and they just updated their deal that works out to be 135 dollars cheaper over the 2 year plan. Called their loyalty dept and they changed it for me without issue. I also managed to snag an additional loyalty discount for 15 months too. It worked out to be essentially 626 dollars for the pixel 8 which is 300 bucks cheaper than the Google store black Friday price. Your results may vary lol

Freedom’s deal for $65/mth for 60 GB Canada nationwide + US + roaming included for 73 other countries is insane if you travel a lot. Bye bye roaming fees, eSims and other annoying things.
Would cool to divide it by parent company and “independent”. Cus sometimes yes it a good price but if you go for percent company service is better.
I got rickrolled!!!!
Any idea how to port number to koodo without going to a store? does anyone know if they offer Esim through the phone ?
what’s the deal with fonus
Thank you so much!
I see Freedom has an amazing 73 country roaming component in their plan. Does any other provider have free roaming beyond Can/US/Mex?
Anyone have experience with Virgin? Only thing I donÔÇÖt like is the 480p streaming/video throttle
trying to upgrade my Public Mobile plan and their website keeps throwing errors
damn was going to snag a pixel 7 with freedom but says out of stock so I am basically just out of luck then?

Anyone have internet deals?
are these rogers 70 GB right? doesnt that seem way too high?
Trying to get a callback for Koodo to switch my plan to the $34/40GB one but chat keeps saying that they’re too busy.
I’d rather not switch providers to get the same plan.
Does anyone know when the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals end? None of them seem to post end dates
