### ASBTDC to Offer Opportunities in June to Future and Current Small Business Owners

05/17/2024

Future and current small business owners have several options in June to participate in a free learning opportunity through the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University.

ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing, and profitability.

Consulting sessions will provide opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. These sessions are limited and offer valuable insights into improving business strategies and operations.

Events will be held on various dates in June:

— Tuesday, June 4, an online coffee chat will be led from 9 until 10:30 a.m. by Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, and Clint Vogus, instructor of management and author of “The Right Recipe for Entrepreneurial Success.”

— Thursday, June 13, Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce Tech Depot, located at 209 Hazel St.

— Tuesday, June 18, Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Paragould at the Generating Innovative Network, located at 200-212 North Pruett St.

— Tuesday, June 25, Rheanna Branscum, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead consulting sessions at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 409 Vine St.

There is no charge for the events, but registration is required. To register, call 870-972-3517.

This event is made possible at no cost by mission co-sponsorships from FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, First Security Bank, and Simmons Bank.
