Tennessee Comptroller Names Rebecca Mink as Small Business Advocate

Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower is pleased to announce that Rebecca Mink has been named as the Small Business Advocate within the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office. Mink brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having been with the Comptroller’s Office since 2022 and serving in both the divisions of State Audit and Administration. Prior to her time with the Comptroller’s Office, Mink worked as a legislative assistant at the Tennessee General Assembly and in the private sector as a communications specialist.

As the Small Business Advocate (SBA), Mink will play a crucial role in assisting owners of businesses with 50 or fewer employees who interact with state government. The SBA is a valuable resource for Tennesseans who are starting a small business or who already own one. In addition to providing information and answering questions, the SBA also helps in resolving issues between small business owners and state departments and agencies.
