This significant transaction not only included a payment of Rs 55.08 crore to the Tamil Nadu government for stamp duty and various registration fees, but it also faced a slight delay, extending nearly three months beyond the expected completion timeline, which was initially set for December 2024. Nonetheless, Cognizant managed to vacate the Thoraipakkam campus by the end of December in anticipation of the official handover.
