Mission Details and Launch Time

A Falcon 9 rocket topped with 13 spacecraft for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Development Agency (SDA) is scheduled to lift off from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base Saturday, with liftoff expected at 10:26 a.m. EDT (1426 GMT; 7:26 a.m. local California time).

Recent Delays and Rescheduled Launch

SpaceX initially attempted to launch the Tranche 0 mission on Aug. 31 but postponed it due to an undisclosed reason. A second attempt on Sept. 1 was also called off about 12 minutes before liftoff without a disclosed reason.

“Standing down from today’s launch attempt, next available opportunity is Saturday, September 2,” SpaceX wrote in an update on X (formerly known as Twitter).
