The event will kick off with a rehearsal from 9-10:30 a.m. at Simmons Bank Field in Thone Stadium. Participants should come dressed in comfortable athletic attire suitable for the weather conditions.
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., ATU Band Member for a Day attendees will be divided into three groups to engage in various activities including a complimentary lunch at Chambers Cafeteria (available for the first 500 students), campus tours, and an academic fair with tailgating games.
After a brief half-hour break to change into their band uniforms from 12:30-1 p.m., participants will gather at Nutt Residence Hall (1505 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville) at 1 p.m.
The highlight of the day will be the traditional pre-game warm-up, where all band members will march to the stadium and participate in pre-game performances. The football game between Arkansas Tech and Harding University will commence at 2 p.m. All Band Member for a Day participants will have free admission to the game and will sit together with the Arkansas Tech band in the stands. They will also have the opportunity to showcase their talent on the field during halftime. The game is expected to conclude around 5 p.m.
