Accounting

Laura C. Griffin, Assistant Professor

Griffin joins Leeds from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. With her extensive professional experience at Deloitte and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, she brings a practical perspective to the classroom.

Nikki Skinner, Assistant Professor

Skinner, a PhD graduate from the Leeds School of Business, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her previous position as an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Georgia.

Finance

Simona Abis, Assistant Professor

Abis, who holds a PhD in Finance from INSEAD, Singapore/Fontainebleau, joins Leeds from the Columbia Business School. Her research focuses on the integration of machine learning, technological adoption, and Artificial Intelligence in finance.

Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics

Vijay Khatri, Professor

Khatri, a tenured professor with a PhD from the University of Arizona, serves as the first named endowed dean at CU Boulder. His previous role as the executive associate dean for strategy, innovation, and technology at Indiana University BloomingtonÔÇÖs Kelley School of Business highlights his expertise in organizational leadership and information analytics.

Jason Thatcher, Professor

Thatcher, with a PhD in Business Administration from Florida State University, specializes in studying individual decision-making, strategic alignment, and workforce issues related to technology and organizations. His recent work delves into the realms of cybersecurity and social media.

Marketing

Gwen Ahn, Assistant Professor

Ahn, who holds a PhD in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of MichiganÔÇÖs Stephen M. Ross School of Business, brings expertise in machine learning, prosocial behavior, and experiential consumption to Leeds’ marketing department.

Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Operations

Sentao Miao, Assistant Professor

Miao, with a PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, joins Leeds from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His research interests encompass supply chain management, online optimization, and machine learning.

The Finance department also welcomes several new members, including Deanne Stodden, instructor; Amy Brimah, lecturer; Will Robb, lecturer; and Richard Engel, lecturer.
