## March Highlights in Lubbock
Hello A-J readers!
March is going by fast. Here’s a quick look at some of this week’s highlights.
Ziggy’s Island Grill, a fusion food truck featuring global island cuisine, hopes to open by early April. The owner, Kirk DeLong, hopes to turn it into a unique experience.
“It’s going to be an experience, and that sounds kind of cliche╠ü, but we’re going to have a lot to offer,” DeLong said. “We want it to be fun for everybody.”

An O’Donnell native and Texas Tech alumni recently completed a $12.25 billion business deal that involved the sale of a Web3 technology developer.
This week’s international cuisine feature was on Lite Bite Mediterranean, 3624 50th St., which has been open since 1993. The current owners, Joe and Kelly Hilal, purchased the restaurant from their friends and former restauranteurs, Sam and Farah Shoujaa.
Going into next week, the next part of the international cuisines project will touch on a Nepalese option. I’ll also be investigating several rumors and am waiting on responses.
As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
