I am retired and use Tricare Select, not sure how the two would compare so not sure what your out of pocket costs are compared to mine. How old are you? If you’re young and healthy you probably wont need it. In fact if your company pays into an HYSA, it might be more beneficial long term to use the HYSA instead.
Do any of your dependents have health issues that are expensive? If not then you probably won’t need it.
Tricare supplement is really only needed for retired AD under Tricare Select or if you retire from reserves and get Tricare Retired Reserves and you or a dependent have chronic health issues that need to get taken care of.
