    The 90 days is for tourism, not work. So no, its not allowed. Different EU countries have different rules/apply them more strictly.

    Some countries do offer a digital nomad visa or equivalent, which is technically what you need. However some, like Germany, do not.

    All this said the chances of enforcement are very low.

    Which nationality do you have? Are you an EU citizen? If not for which country do you have a residence and/or working permit and where do reside the majority of your time?

    Have you considered the implications for your health insurance?

    A lot of people doing this. People go to cape town, bali, other EU countries. Expats go back to their countries to visit their families but work from there instead spending their paid holidays.

    As long as your company is ok with it, that should be ok. Visa wise, noone cares. Tax wise, those are small periods to trigger any tax issues. Only area that the companies worry is insurance. If something happens during your work, your work insurance should cover it. However, you are not in the country that insurance covers. So it makes a bit complicated but again noone cares.
