### Quick Backstory: Legal Troubles from the 90s

In the late 90s, I found myself entangled in legal troubles in the US. Despite pleading to avoid jail time, I ultimately ended up serving time for a violation of probation (VOP). While probation was restarted initially, it eventually came to an end, allowing me to focus on rebuilding my life.

    >flying back from Mexico

I wanted to ask about this part you mentioned since it is a recurring topic of discussion. It is common knowledge that most people here say you cannot fly into mexico if you’re on the registry. I’m curious where you flew out of, and where you flew into? Whenever someone asks about mexico everyone always says the answer is no because of the travel matrix that is circulated here. I was going to test going in by driving through the border since they never stop anyone. I’m fully aware of the search on the way back though.

Anyone considering a cruise might want to check out this website as they provide a lot of information about the policies of the different cruise lines as it relates to RSOs. Also, some feedback on actual experiences.

Stay away from Carnival and Royal Caribbean due to no PFRs

I went on several Holland America/NCL and most recently NCL Transatlantic no issues. However, I do not have the stamp. I do have to inform 21 days in advance.

The best options for a Cruise in North America is the Southern Caribbean, EU islands and US territory .

Virgin will not allow SO’s, but Viking will. Their cruises are only 18 years+, but don’t announce your status. They currently don’t check and don’t seem to care. You must be able to enter all countries on the itinerary. Just flew into France with a marked passport, and they didn’t give a hoot. They think the US SO laws are barbaric.
