There is no minimum period between making roles redundant and re-hiring. For example they might have landed a large contract and need to rehire the day after people left.
Also as you had less than 2 years service, they didn’t need to make you redundant. They could just dismiss you.
Feel free to reapply if you want to join again, but there is no payout here if that’s what you are looking for.
I worked for a company and a contract came to an end as the other company had decided to use another provider. So begrudgingly they let 6 people go.

A company can rehire at anytime after a redundancy, there’s no legal time frame. You could file for unfair/constructive dismissal up to 3 months after, up to 6months after for some claims, and it would still be heard for exceptional circumstances up to 12months after. ACAS is first step as you’ll need to start an early conciliation.
However all the business needs to do is show a need for this role and that’s it. It’s crap OP but don’t take it personally.
Under 2 year employment. They could have gotten rid of you without making you redundant.
I think if you go down this route you’ll find it’s all above board and they haven’t done anything illegal.
6 months is the length of time employers have to wait before they can hire roles that were previously made redundant . A claim for unfair dismissal needs to be commenced at an ET within 3 months of dismissal.
